Moola picnic area is open 9am to 7pm during daylight savings (until 6pm at other times). The picnic area may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

- Please note Lane Cove Boatshed kiosk is only open on weekends and during school holidays.
There are plenty of facilities here, including wood and electric barbecues, and, when it's open on weekends and school holidays, you can even pick up an ice-cream or cold drink from the boatshed kiosk.
Once you’ve enjoyed your picnic or barbecue lunch, you can head off along the Riverside walk to explore the bushland of Lane Cove National Park. If you'd like to travel by water and you didn't bring your own vessel, it's easy to hire a row boat, canoe or pedal boat from the Lane Cove Boatshed.
