Marang lookout
Bouddi National Park
Overview
The most scenic views of Maitland Bay can be enjoyed from Marang lookout on the NSW Central Coast. Soak up the beauty of the secluded beach and surrounding waters.
Marang lookout is located along Bouddi Coastal walk, 150m south of the junction with Maitland Bay walking track. Follow the track to the sandstone block lookout — a great place to sit and take in the natural beauty of this unique spot.
Marang means ‘sandy beach’ in the local Aboriginal language. While the sandy shores of Maitland Bay are the main attraction to the north, you can feast your eyes on the untouched bushland surrounds.
The pristine waters of the Bouddi marine extension protect diverse marine wildlife that call this place home. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins which frequently explore the bay.
Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture the striking scenery here.
